US EPA has completed their evaluation and testing of Picklex® and the Picklex® Process with very promising results. US EPA has established that Picklex® and the alternative process can be used as a replacement of the hazardous/toxic chemicals presently used in metal surface preparation and pretreatment processes. US EPA also defined Picklex® as a cost effective, nonpolluting metal surface finishing pretreatment and pretreatment/conversion coating. US EPA has recently published their evaluation/report on Powder Coating and other finishing by Picklex® Process.
