Picklex®
is specially formulated for automated processes for new
galvanized or
non-galvanized metals (Steel and Aluminum). Picklex®
replaces zinc phosphate, iron phosphate and chromate conversion coatings from the
pre-treatment process.
A definite advantage over phosphate and chromate conversion coatings is that there is no waste disposal from the Picklex® tank (also no waste treatment is required). The final rinse water does not contain heavy metal and therefore it can be disposed continuously to the drain. Otherwise, if rinsed inside a dip tank or a spray booth, from time to time the rinse water can be transferred to a spare plastic tank, where it is evaporated recouping the Picklex®. Picklex® has the same characteristics as Picklex® 20 but for automated processes used in the following applications:
