The PROTEC
Sealant/Polish
is actually a polymer sealant base that leaves a clear, glassy
smooth armor coating after application. It actually penetrates the
fiberglass, clear coat or painted surface. With the polymer base, a chain of molecules is
formed, resulting in a solid surface coating. Under a microscope, the
sealant mixes in the pores and once
applied, PROTEC creates a seal, preventing dirt and grime that normally
infiltrates these tiny places in the surface finish. With a good seal, dirt has
no place to settle, so the glass like finish lasts a long time.
Additionally, PROTEC has UV inhibitors that gives the surface a
'sunscreen' application. Skeeter Products puts a good coat of PROTECT on
every boat 'before' it comes out of the plant and into the open
