SURFACE PREPARATION

Picklex® simultaneously combines the following processes when applied to a ferrous or non-ferrous surface by spraying, dipping or brushing on.

	Cleans the surface by removing light oil and dust
	Removes light surface rust
	Metal surface conditioner
	Protective Primer for top coating purposes
	100% rust conversion (including Mill Scale and Micro-Rust)
	Inhibits rust and stops Creeping or the spreading of rust

Increases Weld strength considerably (Picklex®20), when welding is performed on the coated surface (forms no spatter)
